According to Galaxy Research analyst Christine Kim on the 14th (local time), Ethereum developers held a meeting the previous day and decided to implement the Pectra upgrade on the mainnet on April 8.
The Pectra upgrade includes several Ethereum Improvement Proposals (EIPs) aimed at enhancing user experience and network efficiency. One of the main upgrade elements is known to be expanding the maximum validator stake limit from 32 ETH to 2048 ETH.
