The Arizona State Senate has passed a Bitcoin (BTC) strategic reserve bill.
According to Cointelegraph on the 28th (local time), the Arizona State Senate passed the Bitcoin strategic reserve bill with 17 votes in favor and 12 against the previous day. Now only the House vote remains.
The bill centers on creating a digital asset strategic reserve managed by the state treasurer, investing funds allocated by the state legislature, and including virtual assets (cryptocurrencies) seized by the state. Currently, 18 states in the U.S. are waiting for Senate votes on this proposal, and two states, including Arizona and Utah, are in the final stages of the approval process.
