Aleo Foundation Forms Strategic Partnership with Google Cloud
Summary
- The Aleo Foundation announced that it has formed a partnership with Google Cloud to strengthen security and scalability.
- Google Cloud will integrate and analyze Aleo blockchain data through BigQuery, improving developers' real-time accessibility.
- Startups within Aleo can receive up to $350,000 in credits through Google's startup cloud program.

The Aleo Foundation, a zero-knowledge proof (ZKP) based Layer 1 blockchain, announced on the 28th that it has formed a strategic partnership with Google Cloud.
As part of this collaboration, Google Cloud will participate as a validator that generates blocks for the Aleo network. Google Cloud is joining forces to strengthen the scalability and security of the Aleo network.
Specifically, Google Cloud will integrate and analyze Aleo's blockchain data, including transactions and on-chain records, using its big data platform BigQuery. This allows developers to access real-time analytics related to the Aleo network without running separate nodes, and makes it easier to utilize data needed for building decentralized applications (dApps).
In particular, the partnership between the two companies is expected to help improve performance and cost efficiency. This is because Google Cloud's ARM-based virtual machine (VM), Axion, shows about 10% higher performance than Amazon's ARM-based processor, AWS Graviton chip. Additionally, Aleo explained that Google Cloud's ▲BigQuery, ▲managed open-source platform GKE, and ▲database service Cloud SQL can also help improve productivity.
Furthermore, startups within Aleo will be able to receive Google Cloud credits worth up to $350,000 (approximately 500 million KRW) through Google's startup cloud program.
Howard Wu, co-founder of Aleo, said, "Google Cloud is supporting the influx of more users into the Web3 ecosystem," adding, "Through this collaboration, Aleo has been able to develop a Web3 payment system that ensures privacy while complying with regulations. We plan to build an on-chain payment solution that has both transparency and security using zero-knowledge proof technology."
