According to cryptocurrency media outlet Cointelegraph on the 3rd, Simon Gerovich, CEO of Metaplanet, announced via X (Twitter) that "Metaplanet has purchased an additional 156 Bitcoin."
As a result, Metaplanet's Bitcoin holdings have increased to 2,391. The average purchase price is $82,100.
Meanwhile, CEO Gerovich revealed that he is also considering listing Metaplanet in countries outside of Japan. He said, "Last week, I met with executives from the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) and Nasdaq to introduce Metaplanet," adding, "We are working on ways to make Metaplanet shares accessible to investors worldwide."
As of 2:32 PM today, Metaplanet is trading at 4,010 yen on the Tokyo Exchange, up 21.15% compared to the previous trading day.
