US CFTC: "Resuming discussions on digital assets... want cooperation like in the past"

The U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) and Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) have resumed discussions related to digital assets.
According to Fox Business reporter Eleanor Terrett on the 6th (local time), Acting CFTC Chair Caroline Pham announced at the 'Future of Fintech Symposium' that "discussions between CFTC and SEC staff regarding the digital asset sector have resumed."
She added, "We want to collaborate, and since we've worked well together in the past, we'd like to restore our regular cooperation framework." SEC Commissioner Hester Peirce reportedly agreed with this statement.
