  • Aleo co-founder Howard Wu emphasized the strategic advantages of US-based projects.
  • He stated that US regulations and legal frameworks are advantageous factors for Aleo.
  • Aleo's US base provides additional benefits in collaborations with financial institutions.

Howard Wu, co-founder of layer 1 blockchain Aleo, stated on the 10th that "US-based projects including Aleo will have long-term strategic advantages."

Through a recent Q&A session with the Korean community, Howard Wu said, "Aleo is a US-based project, which gives us advantages in terms of global regulations and legal frameworks," adding, "We have communicated with policymakers in Washington DC and discussed opportunities related to blockchain technology with federal agencies." He continued, "US regulations serve as a reference for the rest of the world. Aleo's decision to be based in the US was a strategic choice considering our long-term vision."

In fact, US-based projects have been receiving significant attention in the recent cryptocurrency market. This is due to expectations that President Donald Trump will actively foster the cryptocurrency industry within the US, as he has expressed his intention to make the United States the capital of cryptocurrencies. Previously, President Trump announced through his social media (SNS) that he had directed his working group to include US-based cryptocurrencies such as XRP, Solana (SOL), and Cardano (ADA) as strategic reserve assets.

Aleo has also gained market attention as a US-based cryptocurrency. The Aleo Network Foundation is headquartered in Wyoming, USA, and Provable, Aleo's development organization, is a US corporation. Additionally, Aleo's executive team consists of individuals from the US Supreme Court, US Special Operations Forces, and the US Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN).

Meanwhile, Howard Wu also emphasized the advantages of being a US-based project. He said, "Aleo being a US-based project is also advantageous when collaborating with financial institutions. Most institutions check whether their partners are based in the US and have established IT and technological infrastructure, which made our conversations smoother," adding, "The US is favorable for developing new technology ecosystems globally, which will help the Zero-Knowledge Proof (ZKP) technology that Aleo is focusing on developing to spread worldwide."
