Layer 1 blockchain SUI announced on the 11th that it has formed a partnership with Nimblebites, a Korean company that develops digital content based on digital human and virtual world creation technology, for the development of next-generation Web3 games.
Through this partnership, the companies will integrate SUI blockchain's scalability and transaction processing technology, along with secure asset storage solutions from the decentralized storage protocol 'Walrus', into the game 'Super-B' being developed by Web3 specialized studio Nimblebites.
Super-B is a Web3 game that provides a brick world environment where players can fight, build, and make friends using toy-like avatars.
The decentralized storage protocol Walrus is a data storage technology designed by Mysten Labs, the developer of the SUI blockchain. Walrus supports programmable data storage needed to implement NFT and user-generated content (UGC) features in Super-B. This gives players the opportunity to create their own worlds, share content, and monetize it.
This collaboration will proceed under the technical support of Mysten Labs. Nimblebites successfully completed a private beta test of Super-B last year and is continuing play tests with the goal of an official launch in the third quarter of 2025.
