According to Cointelegraph on the 13th (local time), Rumble revealed through an announcement the previous day that it had purchased 188 BTC (approximately $17.1 million).
This is part of an investment strategy to hedge against inflation and strengthen connections with the digital asset (cryptocurrency) industry, as stated by Rumble CEO Chris Pavlovski following Donald Trump's election as U.S. President last November. Rumble indicated that it remains open to the possibility of additional Bitcoin purchases depending on future market conditions.
Meanwhile, CEO Pavlovski had previously expressed strong support for the Trump administration's digital asset policies through his social media.
