According to industry sources on the 19th, Financial Supervisory Service (FSS) Governor Lee Bok-hyun stated during a press conference that "major cases of internal control failures related to cryptocurrency exchanges under inspection have been examined," and said he would share the inspection results next week.

According to the cryptocurrency industry, the two exchanges known to have been investigated by the Financial Supervisory Service (FSS) are Bithumb and Coinone.

Financial authorities have been conducting on-site inspections of Bithumb since the 17th, focusing on compliance with Anti-Money Laundering (AML) obligations, and are also known to have previously conducted inspections of Coinone.
