According to The Block, a cryptocurrency-focused media outlet, on the 24th (local time), Arbitrum DAO is contemplating whether to reclaim funds from the gaming ecosystem incentive initiative known as the 'Gaming Catalyst Program.'
In the related proposal, Arbitrum DAO explained, "The Gaming Catalyst Program was approved with very optimistic prospects, but it is now deemed unsustainable," adding, "This decision was made because major sponsors have already left or may leave."
Additionally, the Gaming Catalyst Program reportedly faced issues such as opaque fund usage, team salary increases, and failure to fulfill reporting obligations.
