According to Bloomberg News on the 1st (local time), X requested the US Supreme Court to review the lower court's ruling between Coinbase and the IRS. Previously, the lower court ruled that the IRS collecting user information from Coinbase does not violate the Constitution.

X stated, "If a company has contracted to keep user information private, forcing the company to disclose that information is unconstitutional." X also added, "(This case's ruling) is an opportunity to redefine the relationship between the government and companies like Coinbase and X," emphasizing that "the government can no longer infringe on users' Fourth Amendment rights."
