A US court has announced that it will proceed with a formal trial in the civil lawsuit filed against Digital Currency Group (DCG) and its executives.

According to CoinDesk on the 12th (local time), the New York State Court has decided to proceed with a formal trial for the civil lawsuit against DCG and former Genesis CEO Michael Moro.

Previously, in 2023, the US Department of Justice filed a civil lawsuit against Barry Silbert, DCG CEO, and Michael Moro, former Genesis CEO. The Department of Justice believes they concealed losses incurred from the collapse of Three Arrows Capital (3AC) in 2022.
