On the 21st (local time), Tomasz Stanczak, co-director of the Ethereum Foundation, stated on X (formerly Twitter) that "discussions on the Ethereum expansion roadmap are being conducted extensively," adding, "Now, the achievement of these goals depends on us."
In particular, the role of founder Vitalik in achieving the Ethereum roadmap was emphasized. Stanczak said, "Above all, we will ensure that Vitalik spends more time on research and exploration rather than routine task coordination or crisis response," adding, "This will pave the way for long-term breakthroughs."
He continued, "Our foundation is also focusing on short-term goals to address user experience and scalability issues in the next two protocol upgrades," specifying that "we are concentrating on major user experience (UX) improvements, including Layer 1 expansion, Layer 2 expansion support, and interoperability in the Factra, Fusaka, and Glamssterdam upgrades."
