Attention is focused on whether the Litecoin (LTC) spot Exchange Traded Fund (ETF), currently awaiting approval from the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), will be approved. Some suggest that Litecoin might be the first altcoin to receive spot ETF approval.

On the 4th (local time), Bloomberg ETF analyst James Seyffart stated on X (formerly Twitter) that "the decision on the approval of the Canary Fund's Litecoin spot ETF is scheduled by the 5th," adding, "Previously, the SEC delayed decisions on several spot ETF applications, but this product has not been delayed."

He further added, "The asset with the possibility of early approval is Litecoin," and "Personally, I think the possibility of a delayed decision is higher, but it needs to be watched."
