With today's upward trend, Bitcoin is just about $2,000 away from breaking its all-time high. The highest price Bitcoin has ever reached was $108,108, recorded last January.
The market is closely watching how far Bitcoin's upward trend will continue. Industry experts predict that Bitcoin could rise to $200,000 this year. Arthur Hayes, co-founder of BitMEX, mentioned in an interview that "Bitcoin could reach $250,000 this year, with a short-term rally to $150,000-$200,000 in the summer."
Matt Hougan, Chief Investment Officer (CIO) of Bitwise, also stated at the 'Consensus2025' announcement that "miners will mine over 165,000 Bitcoins this year, and listed companies are already accumulating more than that," predicting that "with the increase in institutional demand, Bitcoin could rise to $200,000 by the end of the year."
