USDC, XRP, and Base Protocol, which ranked 1st, 3rd, and 5th, respectively, have gained their positions due to being involved in a particular news story. It is reported that Circle, the issuer of USDC, has initiated informal negotiations for a corporate sale with either Coinbase, the developer of Base Protocol, or Ripple, the issuer of XRP.
