The People Power Party has announced its intention to cooperate with the USA for the digital asset market. This is interpreted as an effort to seek collaboration with the USA, a country rapidly developing its digital asset market under President Donald Trump.

On the 30th (Korean time), Choi Bo-yoon, a member of the People Power Party, said at a press briefing held in the National Assembly Main Building during the "Digital Asset Industry Policy Meeting with People Power Party," "There are several differences between the People Power Party's digital asset policies and those of the Democratic Party of Korea," adding, "One of them is the global aspect."

He continued, "I understand that candidate Lee Jae-myung intends to take time with negotiations with the USA, but if candidate Kim Moon-soo were elected, he would immediately begin negotiations with the USA," and added, "We plan to discuss tariffs, digital assets, and other topics with President Trump." Choi Bo-yoon added, "Through this, we will enable Korea to rise as a digital asset G2."

Assembly member Park Soo-min, who also attended, stated that a partnership with the USA would be important for the domestic digital asset market. Park said, "We will work closely with the USA so a robust industrial revolution can occur."

Another distinguishing point mentioned was the introduction of a 'venture certification' for blockchain companies. Park commented, "Many Korean blockchain companies have moved abroad, but there are also companies wanting to enter Korea. By implementing venture certification for virtual asset businesses, it will greatly help with domestic job creation."

Meanwhile, it was reported that discussions also took place about exchanges and taxation policies. Choi Bo-yoon said, "The People Power Party has announced a pledge to establish an innovative tax system," and added, "There was consensus on the need for new rational discussions on taxation to protect small investors." He concluded, "In terms of specific matters, candidate Kim Moon-soo can handle those directly, so I will refrain from further comment."

Park Soo-min stated, "Exchanges have expressed that, since the industry is still in its early stages, they hope the tax policy will be postponed, similar to the capital gains tax."
