Brad Garlinghouse, the CEO of Ripple, who previously expressed dissatisfaction with Bitcoin (BTC) maximalism in the crypto community, extending an olive branch towards the Bitcoin community.

On the 1st (local time), Garlinghouse participated in the XRP Las Vegas event in Las Vegas and shared, “Recently, I donated Satoshi's Skull artwork to the Bitcoin community,” adding, “This is a gesture of reconciliation to reduce division within the crypto community.”

He also stressed the importance of unity within the crypto community, saying, “Bitcoin and XRP are not competitors but should grow as partners together,” and explained, “The success of one crypto asset positively impacts other crypto assets as well.”

In addition, at the event, Garlinghouse addressed the following topics: ▲ the acquisition of Hidden Road, ▲ the RLUSD strategy, ▲ introduction to the Ripple Ledger and XRP, and ▲ the acquisition of Circle, the issuer of USDC.

Garlinghouse stated, “Ripple is adopting a long-term strategy without undue hype,” and added, “We see USDC not simply as a competitor but as a partner to grow with and hope for the overall growth of the crypto asset market.”
