Debate is spreading within the cryptocurrency community over the auction of Silk Road founder Ross Ulbricht.
On the 1st (local time), JackXBT, an on-chain investigator, stated on X (formerly Twitter), "Ross Ulbricht received a total of 300 Bitcoin (BTC) through donations, and the source of these funds is suspected to be Jambler," adding, "I am suspicious about where this money is coming from."
He continued, "Jambler is an unstable centralized mixing service, and typically, if privacy is a concern, decentralized mixers like Wasabi or Samourai are used," and added, "It doesn't appear to be a direct donation from them, but it is true that the source is questionable."
