A reconciliatory atmosphere is emerging in the once-intensifying conflict between U.S. President Donald Trump and Tesla CEO Elon Musk.

According to Politico on the 6th (local time), White House aides, concerned about the escalation of tensions between the two sides, advised Trump to refrain from publicly criticizing Musk and arranged a direct call between them.

The call is scheduled to take place on Friday, and it is seen as an attempt to mediate the conflict between Trump and Musk. Meanwhile, Trump also responded to Politico’s question about his feud with Musk by saying, "It's fine. Everything is going smoothly."

Previously, Musk had also responded, "You're not wrong," to a remark by billionaire investor and Pershing Square CEO Bill Ackman, who said, "Trump and Musk should get along peacefully for the benefit of the United States."
