Notification to mediators Qatar and Oman

Negotiations between Iran and the United States are expected to take more time. It has been reported that Iran has informed the mediating countries, Qatar and Oman, that it will not negotiate with the United States while under attack from Israel.
On the 15th (local time), Agence France-Presse (AFP) cited sources from Qatar and Oman with this report.
Senior officials from Qatar and Oman said, "Iran has indicated that it will pursue serious negotiations only after it has completed its response to Israel's preemptive attack." The senior officials conveyed that Iran would not engage in negotiations while under attack.
Previously, on the day before, former U.S. President Donald Trump said via his social media, "Iran and Israel need to reach an agreement, and in fact, they will soon reach one," adding, "Just as I brought about an agreement between India and Pakistan in the past, I can resolve this as well."
