After President Donald Trump ordered the swift passage of the U.S. stablecoin bill (GENIUS Act), there has been a move to process that bill together with the virtual asset (cryptocurrency) market structure bill (CLARITY Act).
On the 19th (local time), Eleanor Terrett, the host of Crypto in America, reported on X that "the House is reviewing a plan to process the virtual asset market structure bill and the stablecoin bill together by the August deadline set by President Trump."
Earlier, after the stablecoin bill passed the Senate and was awaiting a House vote, Trump urged the House for quick handling, saying, "I want the bill brought to my desk as soon as possible. There should be no delays or extra provisions."
