WEMIX Surpasses Delisting Setback, Price Rises 15% Month-on-Month After Removal

Attention is now on whether WEMIX, which faced a second round of delisting from domestic exchanges, can turn the situation around. After a sharp drop following its confirmed delisting, WEMIX is now trading at a higher price than it was before the removal.

As of 8:45 AM (KST) on the 24th, WEMIX is trading at $0.426 on CoinMarketCap, up 6.42% from the previous day. Compared to last month's price, this is an increase of approximately 15%.

Previously, on May 30, WEMIX's injunction request regarding the delisting was dismissed, and, starting June 2, trading support was halted on four domestic KRW exchanges.

On the 30th, the 50th Civil Division of the Seoul Central District Court (Presiding Judge Kim Sang-hoon) dismissed Wemade's injunction request against the Digital Asset Exchange Joint Consultative Body (DAXA) regarding the delisting of 'WEMIX'. At the time, the court noted, "Wemade disclosed the incident four days after the hacking incident occurred, making it difficult to see the disclosure as fulfilling significant requirements regarding the WEMIX coin."

With the injunction rejected, WEMIX ceased trading on KRW exchanges as previously indicated on June 2.

However, legal proceedings between Wemade and DAXA continue. On June 11, Wemade filed an appeal with the Seoul Central District Court regarding the dismissal of the request to suspend the decision terminating trading support. The appeal hearing submitted by Wemade is expected to be held at the Seoul High Court in the future.
