  • Nobitex stated that deposit, withdrawal, and trading functions remain suspended, with withdrawals planned to resume from the 30th.
  • The recent hack has been attributed to a pro-Israeli hacker group, which escalated the damage by destroying the stolen funds and releasing part of the platform's source code.

Iran's largest virtual asset (cryptocurrency) exchange, Nobitex, has reportedly resumed some of its services following a hacking incident earlier this month involving $90 million.

According to The Block on the 29th (local time), Nobitex announced on X that "exchange services have been resumed only for certain verified users," but added that "deposit, withdrawal, and trading functions remain suspended at this time."

The company stated that it plans to resume withdrawals from the 30th, but the schedule may change depending on circumstances. Meanwhile, the hack has been attributed to the pro-Israeli hacker group 'Gonjeshke Darande,' which allegedly destroyed the stolen funds and disclosed part of the platform's source code, thereby amplifying the damage.
