Crypto asset investigator targets Circle… "North Korea uses USDC but they don't stop it"

There has been a claim that Circle, the issuer of USDC, is turning a blind eye to North Korea's criminal activities.

On the 1st (Korean time), prominent crypto asset (cryptocurrency) investigator ZachXBT pointed out via X (formerly Twitter) that "Circle is aware that North Korean IT staff primarily use USDC for payments, yet takes no action."

He added, "It's true that USDC's transaction volume has increased by 8%," but emphasized, "However, as this is now a crime supercycle, no one cares anymore."
