On the 6th (KST), TON announced through its official channel, "By staking TON, you can now receive the UAE Golden Visa (a 10-year residency visa)."
According to the page released by TON, users who want to obtain the UAE Golden Visa must stake $100,000 worth of TON Coin for 3 years and pay a fee of $35,000. It is reported that the visa can be received within 7 weeks.
Meanwhile, following this news, the price of TON surged. As of 5:01 PM, TON is trading at $2.89 on CoinMarketCap, up 5.25% from the previous day.
