On the 16th (local time), EmberCN announced via X (formerly Twitter) that "Trend Research, under LD Capital, is likely to sell an additional 40,000 ETH (about $120 million)". Today, Trend Research already sold 48,900 ETH (about $150 million) in the market.
Analysts focused on the possibility of Trend Research repaying loans. One stated, "Trend Research has already repaid a $67 million loan to Aave, and the remaining loan is $207 million. To completely repay this debt, an additional 40,000 ETH would have to be sold."
Meanwhile, Jack Yi, the founder of LD Capital, said, "After repaying all loans, I plan to hold 100% spot Ethereum."
