On the 11th (Korean time), Wu Blockchain reported that BNC purchased 200,000 Binance Coins worth $160 million (approximately ₩220 billion). BNC secured the funds for this purchase through a $500 million private placement, with the investment led by 10x Capital and Easy Labs.
With this transaction, the company plans to classify the acquired Binance Coin as a long-term holding asset, while also planning to invest up to an additional $1.25 billion (about ₩1.7 trillion) utilizing a warrant structure.
Meanwhile, as of 12:40 p.m. on the same day, Binance Coin is trading at $818.65, up 0.84% from the previous day.
