On the 28th (local time), according to UBlockchain, the Solana community has started a vote on Alpenglow, a new consensus protocol that reduces block finality time.
The vote will run for six days, and the current turnout is 9.87%. Meanwhile, Alpenglow aims to drastically reduce the Solana network's block finality (Block Finality) time from the previous average of 12.8 seconds to about 0.15 seconds.
