Riot Platforms and CleanSpark See Significant Year-on-Year Increase in August Bitcoin Mining

U.S. Bitcoin (BTC) miners Riot Platforms and CleanSpark showed clear growth in their August mining results.
On the 4th (local time), according to Cointelegraph, Riot Platforms' August mined amount was 477 BTC, a 48% increase from 322 BTC in August 2024. The company sold 450 BTC during the same period, securing approximately $5.18 billion, and its holdings rose 92.7% year-over-year to 19,309 BTC.
CleanSpark also mined 657 BTC in August, a 37.5% increase from 478 BTC in the same period last year. The company sold 533.5 BTC in August alone, securing $607 million in cash.
