A hack occurred at a Swiss virtual asset (cryptocurrency) platform, resulting in the theft of a large amount of Solana (SOL).
On the 9th (Korean time), crypto-focused outlet The Block reported that on-chain detective ZachXBT said SwissBorg was hacked and about 192,600 Solana tokens were stolen. This is approximately $41.3 million at current prices.
The hacker is believed to have targeted SwissBorg's staking partner API and attacked the Solana yield program 'Sol Earn Program (SOL Earn Program)'.
SwissBorg plans to use company funds to compensate customers and is also pursuing fund recovery in cooperation with white-hat hackers.
