Hecto Financial to conduct RLUSD payment demonstration in Korea on the 25th

Hecto Financial announced on the 9th that it will conduct a payment demonstration using Ripple's stablecoin (RLUSD) at the Korea Blockchain Week (KBW) event to be held on the 25th.

This payment event will be held together with virtual asset (cryptocurrency) custodian Bidax and AhnLab's subsidiary AhnLab Blockchain Company.

Participants can install AhnLab Blockchain Company's multi-chain wallet 'Clip' and experience RLUSD payments at Hecto Financial's 'My Account Payment' merchants. Bidax will be responsible for custody and storage of RLUSD for payment, and Hecto Financial will handle the overall payment process.

Seventeen merchants, including Oasis, CGV, Megabox, and Lotte Cinema, will participate in this demonstration. Participants who complete payments will receive RLUSD rewards.

Hecto Financial plans to use this demonstration to prove technical readiness to combine existing simple cash payment infrastructure with stablecoin payments and to make it a turning point for future global expansion.
