Web3 smartphone maker Nothing said on the 17th that it maintained US$200 million in its Series C investment round. In this Series C, Nothing's corporate valuation was assessed at US$1.3 billion (about 1.7 trillion won).
The Series C round was led by Tiger Global, with participation from GV, Highland Europe, EQT, Latitude, I2BF, and Tapestry.
Nothing plans to use the funds to transition beyond smartphone manufacturing into an artificial intelligence (AI)-based platform company. Carl Pei, Nothing's co-founder, said, "From the only new smartphone company to have emerged in the past decade, we intend to move toward an AI-native platform where hardware and software converge."
