Coinbase is integrating the decentralized exchange 1inch (1INCH) API into its app
According to The Block on the 2nd (local time), Coinbase has integrated the 1inch API into its app. This allows users to access 1inch from the Coinbase app.
Through this integration, Coinbase aims to enable users to trade virtual assets (cryptocurrency) in a non-custodial manner without going through a centralized exchange (CEX). Coinbase had previously announced plans to link decentralized exchanges (DEXs) in August, and this integration is seen as part of a DeFi expansion strategy following declines in spot trading volume and revenue in the second quarter.
