On the 4th (local time), World Liberty Financial said on X, "We sold tokens to Hut8 at 0.25 dollars and used them as company assets. The tokens transferred were not newly issued, but quantities from the foundation treasury to satisfy the sales proceeds."
It added, "We thank Hut8 for its support as a long-term partner." Meanwhile, World Liberty Financial is currently trading on CoinMarketCap at 0.2011 dollars, down 4.06% from the previous day.
