Coinbase plans to launch a new credit card in the United States this fall in partnership with American Express.
On the 12th (local time), CoinDesk reported that Coinbase plans to launch a Bitcoin birth-commemorative credit card in collaboration with American Express.
The card is expected to be engraved with hexadecimal (hex) data extracted from Bitcoin's genesis block, symbolically commemorating the origin of Bitcoin.
The card will be offered exclusively to subscribers of Coinbase's paid subscription service 'Coinbase One', and users can receive up to 4% Bitcoin (BTC) cashback depending on their asset holdings.
