A report claims that U.S. President Donald Trump is one of the largest Bitcoin (BTC) investors in the United States.

On the 13th (local time), Forbes reported that President Trump indirectly holds about $870 million (about 1.2 trillion won) in Bitcoin through his media company 'Trump Media & Technology Group (TMTG)'.

Earlier, TMTG raised $2.3 billion through stocks and bonds after its Nasdaq listing and purchased about $2 billion worth of Bitcoin last July. President Trump's stake is approximately 41%, and the value of his stake amounts to about $870 million.

President Trump showed a critical stance in 2019, saying "Bitcoin is not money," but in recent years he has changed his position and returned as an advocate of virtual assets (cryptocurrencies).

White House spokesperson Karoline Leavitt said, "President Trump is not involved in conflicts of interest," and added, "the goal is to make the United States the global center for virtual assets."
