On the 16th (local time), CryptoQuant author burakkesmeci said, "These wallets, which held about 900,000 BTC from 2015 to 2024, have surged in the past two years and have now increased to 2.91 million BTC. This is a figure close to an all-time high."
These addresses have continued to accumulate steadily despite market fluctuations since January 2024. The author said, "The main reason is that Bitcoin has established itself as a reliable long-term asset as the regulatory environment has gradually become clearer," and predicted, "The holdings of accumulation addresses will exceed 3 million BTC before the end of 2025."
