Dunamu, the operator of the cryptocurrency exchange Upbit, announced on the 22nd that it held the Fair Trade Compliance Pledge Ceremony.

The Fair Trade Compliance Pledge Ceremony took place on the 21st at Square Cube in Seocho-dong, Seoul. Dunamu executives and employees, including CEO Kyungseok Oh, CFO Seunghyun Nam, CLO Jongheon Lim, CISO Jaeyong Jeong, and CBIO Sunjoo Yoon, attended the ceremony, reaffirming their commitment to establishing a culture of fair trade and contributing to the sound growth of the virtual asset market.

The pledge included seven action items aimed at complying with fair trade-related laws and procedures: ▲Prohibition of abuse of superior position ▲Prohibition of unfair support to affiliates ▲Prohibition of collusion with competitors ▲Prohibition of instructing or facilitating employees to commit unfair trade practices ▲Providing accurate information to customers ▲Pursuing fair transactions with partner companies, etc.

Earlier, in February, Dunamu announced the introduction of the Fair Trade Compliance Program (CP), appointing CLO Jongheon Lim as the compliance manager, establishing a dedicated organization, and refining its internal systems. To improve understanding and encourage practical participation among employees, they published regular newsletters, provided company-wide training, and offered specialized education for departments with high job relevance. In addition, Dunamu continually inspects CP operations quarterly to ensure compliance management and strengthen market trust.

CEO Kyungseok Oh of Dunamu stated, "Fair trade compliance is a prerequisite for sustainable future growth," and added, "We will make transparency and fairness our core corporate values and actively strive to create a healthy market and fulfill our social responsibilities."
