K-pop fan-participatory startup entertainment company Modhaus, which is home to tripleS and ARTMS, announced on the 8th that it has secured a ₩21 billion Series B investment from major domestic venture capital (VC) firms.

The latest round was led by IMM Investment, the largest VC in Korea, with four new 'Top 10' VCs by assets under management—LB Investment, an early investor in HYBE, Intervest, and Smilegate Investment—joining as participants. Existing investors such as Laguna Investment, US-based content VC Sfermion, and music investor Cooper Turley also made additional contributions in this round.

Modhaus succeeded in attracting this large-scale funding, being recognized for its capabilities in IP creation and the growth potential of its fandom platform. This is the largest single investment secured by a domestic entertainment company this year.

Utilizing this funding, the company plans to accelerate the global expansion of its IPs and platform. On the 11th, it will diversify its IP portfolio with the debut of the first unit from the boy group idntt, and will target domestic and international markets through the fan-participation platform Cosmo, enabling more artists to directly connect with global fandoms. Through these efforts, Modhaus aims to expand the value chain of K-content IP and establish itself as a leading innovator of global fan experiences.

Jang Ki-hyun, Manager at IMM Investment, said, "We highly valued Modhaus's differentiated production capabilities and the scalability of its Cosmo-centered ecosystem," and added, "We will do our best to ensure this investment serves as a catalyst for new innovation in Korea's entertainment industry."

Jung Byung-gi, CEO of Modhaus, said, "We thank Korea's leading VCs for recognizing our achievements and vision even in this challenging investment climate," and added, "Beyond K-pop, we will further develop the platform ecosystem where fandoms can directly participate in and contribute to artist production in the global 'Fan-dustry' market."
