Solstice invests $50 million in Ondo Finance..."Diversifying revenue sources"
Summary
- Solstice said it will invest up to $50 million in Ondo Finance's real-world asset (RWA) products to diversify revenue sources.
- With this investment, it said it will expand exposure to stable assets such as U.S. Treasuries to enhance portfolio stability and reduce concentration risk.
- Ondo Finance reported about $1.5 billion in TVL and an 80%% market share in the tokenized Treasury market.

Solana (SOL)-based yield infrastructure protocol 'Solstice (Solstice, SLX)' announced on the 19th that it will reduce reliance on a single strategy and diversify its revenue sources.
To this end, Solstice allocated up to $50 million to Ondo Finance's tokenized U.S. Treasury (T-bill) and other real-world asset (RWA) products.
This investment is a measure to further strengthen the underlying yield structure of the Solana ecosystem. Solstice said, "Through the existing 'delta neutral' strategy, we recorded an annual yield of 14.8% over the past 12 months," and explained, "By adding U.S. Treasury exposure, we will increase portfolio stability and reduce concentration risk."
Solstice's goal is revenue diversification. Even if a particular strategy underperforms, other asset classes such as U.S. Treasuries, which provide about 4% of guaranteed returns, will defend overall yields. Through this, the goal is to present institutional investors with a more attractive and stable revenue model.
Ondo Finance, selected as the partner, is a leader in the tokenized Treasury market. Its total value locked (TVL) currently stands at about $1.5 billion, and it holds an overwhelming market share approaching 80% in the yield coin market.
