Summary

  • Superwalk announced that, together with Buffit Seoul, it will run a promotion that offers cashable Superwalk tokens (GRND) as rewards for visits to fitness centers.
  • The promotion will run for three weeks at 10 Buffit Ground locations in the Seoul metropolitan area, and said that in addition to token rewards, additional rewards such as sports drinks will be provided.
  • Superwalk said it will introduce new exercise content next year, integrated with indoor exercise equipment in partnership with Buffit Seoul, expanding its reward ecosystem.

Proground, which operates the reward-based Web3 healthcare platform 'Superwalk', announced on the 19th that it will run the 'Visit Buffit Ground' promotion with Buffit Seoul, the operator of the community-style premium fitness center 'Buffit Ground', until the 9th of next month.

This promotion was prepared to provide rewards to Superwalk users who enjoy outdoor activities such as walking and running when they visit Buffit Ground locations, and thereby naturally increase interest in indoor exercises such as anaerobic and strength training.

The promotion will take place for three weeks at a total of 10 Buffit Ground locations in the Seoul metropolitan area: ▲Yeoksam, Gasan, Sindorim, Samseong, Gwanghwamun, Dogok, Hanti Station, Magok in Seoul ▲Pangyo, Pangyo Venture Town in Seongnam, Gyeonggi.

Superwalk users who arrive at those locations can tap the 'Receive reward' phrase on the in-app exercise map to receive 50 Superwalk tokens (GRND), which can be cashed out, and if they make a 100 won payment at the location and write a receipt review, they can also obtain a sports drink.

In addition to the promotion, Superwalk will develop new exercise content with Buffit Seoul that rewards users for walking or running on indoor exercise equipment such as treadmills and stepmills based on step-counting technology, and plans to introduce it next year.

Kim Tae-wan, CEO of Proground, said, "We planned this promotion so that users can enjoy more fun through the Buffit Ground visit mission rather than simply exercising," adding, "We will continuously present content to expand immersive exercise experiences and the Superwalk reward ecosystem."

Meanwhile, Superwalk, which is leading the domestic popularization of Web3 with its M2E (Move To Earn) service that combines simple exercise and token rewards, has been recognized for stable service operation performance and is collaborating with various Web3 projects, including LINE and Toss.
