Chiliz Utilizes NFT Tickets at KLPGA Event… Establishes Practical Use with Naver Pay Wallet

Global sports and entertainment blockchain company Chiliz (CHILIZ) announced on the 15th that it has successfully implemented a sports Web3 model based on the Chiliz Chain in collaboration with Naver Pay (Npay) Wallet at the Korea Ladies Professional Golf Association (KLPGA) regular tour.

Previously, Chiliz entered into a strategic partnership with Npay last year and has been promoting a Web3 model that can be applied to actual sports events. This achievement marks the first instance where non-fungible tokens (NFTs) issued on the Chiliz Chain were used as tickets for a domestic regular sports event.

From the 9th to the 11th, at the '2025 NH Investment & Securities Ladies Championship' held at Suwon Country Club, NFT ticket reservations and easy entry were made possible through the 'Npay Wallet'.

Spectators were able to collect NFT tickets in the form of digital art issued for each round, and these NFTs minted on the Chiliz Chain were automatically stored in the Npay Wallet. These NFTs can be kept as digital souvenirs even after the event.

In particular, limited edition NFT art, differentiated from general admission tickets, was provided to VIP lounge ticket holders. In addition to the event, various experiential events at the Npay event booth and on-site participatory programs such as the 'Green Ball Challenge' to find NFTs installed at five locations on the golf course were also prepared.

Events for spectators were also held on-site. Chiliz provided a European FC tour package, including round-trip airfare, a 5-star hotel stay, and VIP admission tickets, through a raffle event for Npay Wallet users.
