D'CENT Launches Seasonal Campaign 'Tap That Drop'… Transitioning from Crypto Wallet to 'Platform'
Summary
- IoTrust's D'CENT announced the start of a new airdrop campaign to transform from a hardware wallet to a Web3 platform.
- Through this campaign, D'CENT users can participate in 12 Web3 projects and receive tokens and limited edition NFTs as rewards.
- CEO Baek Sang-soo conveyed that D'CENT aims to provide value as a platform connecting users and the ecosystem beyond just a storage device.

IoTrust, the operator of the hardware wallet brand D'CENT, announced on the 26th that it will start the first season of the seasonal airdrop campaign 'Tap That Drop'.
Starting on the 28th, this campaign is an attempt to transition from simple asset storage to a 'platform' where using the wallet itself becomes a new experience. A total of 12 Web3 projects, including D'CENT, will participate in this season, and each project will conduct airdrop events with unique quests for two weeks. All campaigns can be participated in within the D'CENT wallet app, and upon completing quests, users can receive token rewards provided directly by the respective projects.
The first campaign begins with the project 'Skate', which is preparing for a Token Generation Event (TGE). All users experiencing Skate through D'CENT can experience the project and preemptively earn rewards through community participation.
Campaign participants can also collect limited edition Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs) for each project. A total of 12 NFTs can be obtained throughout the season, and additional airdrops and special benefits of D'CENT services will be provided sequentially based on the number of NFTs held. The structure allows for continuous rewards within the ecosystem just by participating in the campaign.
Through this seasonal campaign, D'CENT plans to transform from the existing 'virtual asset storage-centric' role to a participation-based platform where user activities naturally lead to rewards. The aim is to advance as a brand that connects new opportunities and value to the asset storage function.
Baek Sang-soo, CEO of IoTrust, stated, "Tap That Drop is a campaign that well represents the direction and value D'CENT pursues. We believe that wallets should be the starting point that connects users and the ecosystem, not just a storage device," and added, "D'CENT will continue to innovate so that users can experience new value every time they use the wallet."
