Modhaus, a domestic entertainment company that manages K-Pop group tripleS and ARTMS, announced on the 7th that it has entered a strategic partnership with blockchain innovation company Abstract. Through this collaboration, Modhaus will operate the fan engagement platform 'Cosmo' on the Abstract blockchain.

Cosmo is a platform that supports various fan activities such as collecting digital photo cards using Digital Collectibles and voting tokens, voting on group activities, and participating in interactive quests. To date, more than 9 million digital photo cards have been minted and over 6 million fan votes have been cast, establishing itself as a successful platform that combines blockchain with entertainment.

This partnership is gaining attention as it coincides with the rapid growth of the global K-Pop fandom market, which is led by digitally native communities and is now valued at several billion dollars. tripleS, the flagship artist on Cosmo, boasts 3.4 million SNS followers and won the Rookie Award at the 2023 MAMA Awards. Their sub-unit ARTMS has reached no.1 on Billboard's 'Top New Artist Albums' chart and accumulated over 90 million Spotify streams, further expanding their global fandom base.

Through integration with Abstract, Modhaus aims to achieve ▲stable transaction processing ▲easy signup and onboarding via email ▲integration with various consumer apps that have cultural influence. Fans can use all features of Abstract without any blockchain knowledge or expertise, making complex Web3 easily accessible and effective.

Jung Byunggi, CEO of Modhaus, stated, "We have always believed that fans deserve not just to be bystanders, but to actually participate in the creative process as true collaborators. This partnership with Abstract will help create a newly designed standard for immersive and democratic artist–fan interaction for the next generation of K-Pop."

Michael Lee, Abstract co-founder and CEO, said, "Streetwear, gaming, hip-hop, and K-Pop have each, in their own way, changed the landscape and empowered new generations to lead culture. Cosmo is a space where fans go beyond simply consuming content—they can vote, collect, and synchronize with their favorite artists. This aligns exactly with the values Abstract pursues." He added, "The combination of Cosmo and Abstract will not only be a technological collaboration, but also present a blueprint for a new cultural operating system that revives the fun, ownership, and bold creativity that the internet once lost."
